OLAVE's CLEARING - Foxlease
What a great weekend! The weather was perfect & a lot of work achieved in our special area. We also were given permission by the Centre Manager to choose a new name for the former Chapel/Quiet Area. After overworking our brain cells, we came up with 'Olave's Clearing'.
A crab apple tree was planted by the worship table to commemorate our 10th anniversary this year. A suitable plaque will follow shortly.
Luckily, on Saturday evening, the local pub lived up to its reputation for excellent food, even though we were all nodding off in their comfy chairs by 9.30pm! The only problem we had over the weekend was how to get Alf to stop work!!
Thanks to everyone who came along by day & for the weekend, & worked so hard.
